A man in Buenos Aires was saved by the Federal Police after threatening to jump from the Air Bridge. He was taken to a hospital with a nervous breakdown.


Man Rescued After Suicide Attempt in Constitución

A man who attempted to take his own life was rescued by Federal Police officers in the Buenos Aires neighborhood of Constitución, according to police sources reported to the Argentine News Agency. The individual threatened to jump from the Vehicular Aerial Bridge located on Ituzaingó street, near the Constitución train station.

Federal officers from the FF.CC Roca Police Station arrived at the scene and managed to save the man from carrying out his decision. He was subsequently transported by an ambulance from SAME to a nearby hospital, where medical staff diagnosed him with a "nervous crisis".

The case was placed under the jurisdiction of the National and Correctional Prosecutor's Office, overseen by Judge Néstor García. Due to jurisdictional reasons, the intervention was handed over to the City Police.
